Viridian Artists 33rd Annual International Juried Exhibition

Viridian Artists Gallery is having its 33rd international juried exhibition.  It will be Juried by Jim Kempner of Jim Kempner Fine Arts. Thirty artists will be selected with 1st, 2nd and 3rd place cash prizes awarded.  Also, included will be a Director's Choice digital exhibit to be on view during the exhibition.  The deadline to submit is Tuesday, June 10th, 2025.  The exhibition will run from Tuesday, July 15th to Saturday, August 9th, 2025.  An opening reception will be on Thursday, July 17th from 6 to 8pm.

Drawing from memory, fantasy, and visual storytelling, this exhibition creates a space to consider innocence as both sanctuary and refuge in an ever-changing world. It invites viewers to reminisce,reflect, and reconnect with memories and experiences that may have faded overtime.

Since its inception in 1981 as the Pusan Youth Biennale, it has become a distinctive platform connecting local and global art. Over the years, artistic directors from around the world have contributed to the Busan Biennale, generating meaningful narratives and discussions.

 

International Sculpture Conference Call for Panels - Dallas 2025

The International Sculpture Center invites you to submit a panel proposal for the 31st International Sculpture Conference, taking place in Dallas, TX from October 23-26, 2025. The ISC is seeking a diverse and comprehensive program, covering topics relevant to sculpture today. We welcome any topics in contemporary sculpture that show diverse perspectives from around the world on the current state of the art community. 

Artist Participation - The Poorly Project

The Poorly Project (alternatively titled POORLY) is an editorial and curatorial project dedicated to artists, makers and craftspeople contributing to the worlds of sicknesshealth and well-being. The project invites members of the creative health community to share their stories and creative practices. 

Understanding that sickness remains on the societal side-lines and contemporary conversations on health and well-being are becoming part-time, the exchange of information, experience and wisdom has become evermore valuable.

TerraCycle is seeking an artist or artist team to design and paint a large-scale mural in celebration of our 25th anniversary. As a global leader in sustainability with a mission of Eliminating the Idea of Waste®, TerraCycle develops recycling, recycled materials, and reuse solutions for hard-to-recycle trash.Through an open Call for Artists Request Request for Proposals (RFP) process, we will solicit applicants, review submissions, and select a qualified artist or artist team for this project.
