Average Art is an industry focused art magazine. Our goal is to draw attention to self representing artists. We are now taking entries for the November edition of Average Art Magazine.
 

Call for Artists - A5 Portfolio #31 (October 2019)

A5 magazine wants to try and shine a light on some of the amazing artists working today. We are now taking entries for the October edition of the zine.

Brief: send us a large digital image of your work. Also send us any information you think is relevant. Any text needs to be kept brief as we get hundreds of submissions.

Call for proposals: artCONNECTS - Montclair Mural Project

artCONNECTS is a public art project sponsored by the Montclair Center BID, in partnership with Studio Montclair. The placemaking project is funded by a grant provided by the NJ Main Street program and the Montclair Center Business Improvement District. Four locations have been identified throughout Downtown Montclair for original painted murals. The locations include a key alleyway, and walls at connection points where art can surprise and delight. Murals are to be temporary, with a five year expected life.

Sculpture in the City - Tenth Edition

Sculpture in the City is an award-winning urban sculpture park which launches in June. A cultural initiative delivered by the City of London in partnership with 13 local businesses, it is sited in the EC3 (insurance district) area of the City, around the iconic towers of the Gherkin, the Cheesegrater, Lloyd’s building as well as inside Leadenhall Market. The call for submissions for the tenth edition of Sculpture in the City is now open for preexisting works that can be exhibited outdoors from May 2020 to May 2021. Deadline for applications is 22nd September 2019.

The works submitted for consideration need to be suitable for outdoor display and available for display May 2020 to May 2021.

Public Art RFQ Natural Resources Agency and Health and Human Services

The State of California will implement a permanent Public Art Program in Sacramento in conjunction with two new build projects, the New Natural Resource Headquarters, and the Health and Human Services Building. The Public Art Program aims to inspire world-class public artworks, engaging diverse voices in shaping our civic spaces. It is an opportunity for artists to create within the rich contexts of the California Natural Resources Agency (CNRA), California Health and Human Services (CHHS). 

Three new open calls in Barcelona - Contorno Urbano

We open new calls for the 2019-2020 year.

We are looking for artists for the following projects: 12 + 1 in Sant Vicenç dels Horts (12 artists), Vincles in Sant Vicenç dels Horts (4 artists) and Contorno Urbano Gallery (3 artists). The call for 12 + 1 of L’Hospitalet de Llobregat will be open soon and will be managed through the City Council, not through this form.

You can register for one, two or three calls. We ask that you fill out the form only once, attaching the files of the three calls (each call has a file) in the same section of the form and with the rest of the necessary documentation.

The call will be open from 00h on August 7, 2019 to 24h on September 15, 2019 (GMT +1)
