Average Art is an industry focused art magazine. Our goal is to draw attention to self representing artists. We are now taking entries for the October edition of Average Art Magazine.

Brief: Send us a large digital image of your work. Also send us any information you think is relevant. Any text needs to be kept brief as we get hundreds of submissions.

Contemporary Art Room Gallery is proud to announce their 1st “Portrait” Online Art Competition for the month of August 2019. This is an international competition and artists from around the world are welcome to submit their work. We invite artist and photographers to submit their best artworks related to the Portrait theme. A portrait may be a single person, a group, or self-portrait. A variety of interpretations of the Portrait theme can be submitted. All visual art mediums are acceptable (painting, photography, drawing, sculpture, digital, prints, fiber art, collage or installation art) except sound and video art.

About The Emerging Talents in Contemporary Art

1a space aims to provide young and emerging curator and artists a platform and resources for implementing conceptual and experimental art project. The Emerging Talents in Contemporary Art encourages local and international talents with curatorial guidance, training and advice to help actualize their artistic project. To enhance reginal and international idea exchange and dialogues, the project will be divided into two parts to engage with talents from different part of the world. Projects that take innovative curatorial approaches and experimental formats will be encouraged.

Wotisart is a portfolio magazine. Our goal is to allow unknown artists an avenue to show their work and gain some recognition in the industry and also to answer the question... What is art? We are now taking entries for the September issue of Wotisart?

2nd Circus Residency: The smallest circus convention in Brazil

The House of Sustainable Arts opens its doors for the Second Circus Residency in the style of "the smallest Circus Convention". We offer 5 days of artistic living and cultural exchange through workshops, classes, community shows and theatrical performances. The residency is an intimate meeting of circus artists in the many artistic languages of clowning, juggling, aerial arts, dance, sound and lighting, spoken word and musical performance. This annual residency is occurring for the second time from September 11-15, 2019 in the historic neighborhood of Dois de Julho, Salvador, Brazil. We invite all artists and collectives who identify with the Circus community to present a proposal for a workshop or an act to present during the residency.

Greywood Arts is delighted to introduce Unexpected Spaces, a new residency opportunity for artists with a public art practice. This one-month residency offers accommodation, workspace and materials to a visual or performing artist interested in exploring a public art project in the rural East Cork Village of Killeagh.
