At the heart of Les Rencontres d’Arles
From July to September, the Voies Off Festival proposes an alternative programme focused on the new generation of artists and photographers. The Voies Off Festival is an event committed to supporting the authors. The goals of its programmation is to support the new creation, to present the works of photographers, with the highest rigour and the best quality, to offer the best conditions for the selected photographers to enjoy our very large expert network.

We are delighted to announce that there are four Cockpit Arts Awards now open for applications. All Awards comprise business support provided by Cockpit Arts as well as subsidised studio space for one year.

The Cockpit Arts/ Clear Insurance Award

Aims to support professional makers who have been in business for less than three years and have aspirations to develop their craft business.

Deadline for applications: 5pm, Monday 1 April 2019

The Cockpit Arts / Newby Trust Craft Excellence Awards ** NEW AWARD **

Aims to support a maker to practice their craft at a key stage in their skill development and support their craft business to achieve financial sustainability.

Call For Entries

BFMAF's 2019 Call for Entries is now open!

The 15th Berwick Film & Media Arts Festival would love to see your work. Entries will be considered for all areas of the programme including:

• Cinema screenings - all lengths and formats
• Moving image based installations & performance works

Entries under 60min are eligible for the Berwick New Cinema Award and a £1000 prize.

PAPERWORKS 2022 International Juried Competition

Juror:  Kiko Aebi is a Curatorial Assistant in the Department of Drawings and Prints at The Museum of Modern Art, New York, since 2019. In this role, she has provided exhibition and acquisition support on various projects. Most recently, she worked with Senior Curator Jodi Hauptman and Associate Curator Samantha Friedman on Cézanne Drawing (2021) and contributed texts to the associated exhibition catalogue.
She is the recipient of a Fulbright Research Grant and holds an M.A. in Contemporary Art History from Vrije Universiteit in Amsterdam and a B.A. in Art History and Environmental Studies from Amherst College.  

Eligibility: Artists using paper as their primary medium, as a substrate, or the subject of a video.

Aggregate Animated Shorts OPEN CALL: Third Annual International Experimental Animated Short Film Festival

ASG is pleased to announce our “Third Annual International Experimental Animated Short Film Festival”.

We will be accepting films from 2 - 25 minutes of length in the categories of narrative and non-narrative. Animations of all styles, digital and analog, will be considered. Submissions are DUE JUNE 23 / 11:59 PM PST. You will receive an email by our team regarding your submission in early July.

Call For Entries: NYC Sanitation Department's Trucks of Art

The New York City Department of Sanitation is accepting entries for its “Trucks of Art” initiative, an opportunity for artists to put their artwork, focused on sustainability or our workforce, on one of our collection trucks. As part of DSNY’s goal of sending zero waste to landfills, artists will use paints that would otherwise be discarded or recycled. “Trucks of Art” is open to all artists, professional and amateur.
