First ever Ibero-American Arts Award calls for artists to explore the concept of "Utopia". The Embassy of Brazil to the UK, in partnership with ACALASP (the Association of Cultural Attachés of Latin America, Spain and Portugal), People’s Palace Projects (Queen Mary University of London) and Itaú, is currently inviting entries for its Ibero-American Arts Award. Following the pre-selection process conducted by the curatorial committee, up to 30 artworks will then go on display for three weeks at the Embassy of Brazil. A jury will judge the final selection. Cash prizes are to be given to the jury’s first (£3,000) and second (£1,000) choices. There will be a third cash prize winner (£1,000) for the visiting public’s favourite artwork.
