Y Talent Award 2024

The ‘Y Talent Award’ is an international visual arts competition to celebrate the creativity of exceptional young artists between the age of 13 to 18 from all around the world. The Y Talent Award is a collaboration between the Y Art Centre, founded by the internationally acclaimed contemporary artist Yue Minjun, and Ruthin School, one of the oldest schools in the UK. The judging panel will select ten prize winners, including one grand prize. The judging panel consists of five professional visual artists, who are honorary members of the Y Art Centre. The ten winners will be invited to exhibit their work at Ruthin School, UK, from June to July 2024.

Motion State Dance Film Series- Season 7

Going into its Seventh Season, the Motion State Dance Film Series is the only year-long, traveling short dance film festival in New England devoted to showcasing the diversity of contemporary creative voices exploring the medium of choreography for the camera. By taking the festival “on the road” and into non-traditional film venues, such as art galleries, music halls, performing arts theaters, and university classrooms, the Motion State Dance Film Series seeks to expose the films and filmmakers to new audiences. Every screening is followed by a public Q & A with the curators.

The Associates of Brand Library & Art Center in Glendale, California announces its 52nd Annual National Juried Exhibition of Works on Paper. Cash awards total over $4,000 including a Juror’s Award. Apply to the Project Grants, Awards, Blue Earth Fiscal Sponsorship, and the esteemed Portfolio Review conference with jurors from LACMA, National Geographic, The New Yorker, the National Audubon Society, the Museum of Fine Arts, The Atlantic, High Museum of Arts, and others.
