Guest Room: OFFICE IMPART

Guest Room aims to spark collaboration. Johanna Neuschäffer and Anne Schwanz, founders of the multi-dimensional space and platform for contemporary art OFFICE IMPART, have decided to collaborate with the artist Christian Mio Loclair, who works at the interface of artistic and scientific research.

Together, they have developed the following framework for your submissions: “Simultaneity”.

The complexity of our time can be described wonderfully with the word simultaneity. An either/or categorization becomes obsolete and truths and principles that seem to contradict each other enter into synergy. Creative processes and AI, natural phenomena and the metaverse, everyday processes and algorithms - how do these simultaneities have an effect on photographic image production?

The Solo Exhibition enables you to reach a wider audience through our independent magazine that has become one of the most vibrant portals of photography on the web.

V Open Call - Handbali Magazine

Handbali Magazine calls on artists and groups to present a documentary project that highlights natural or urban spaces, as well as the interaction between nature and human beings, to form the fifth print publication of this emerging photography magazine.

Open to participants of any age and nationality, with projects completed or in progress, as close as possible to publication. The participants will commit themselves, in case they have not sent the finished project, that by the date of publication of the magazine it will be ready for presentation.

Only one project per participant or group will be presented free of charge.

FLOWERS

Flowers are symbolic of beauty, love and tranquility. Yet, we also give them in times of sorrow ,and remembrance. Just as flowers brighten an otherwise barren field, they brighten our lives, building a magical garden in our hearts to fuel our soul for the day. Everyone has their own favorite: the classical rose, the expressive lily, or the shining sunflower. The possibilities are
endless just as they are in photography. Each one presenting its own characteristics, with its own outlook on life, no flower is identical, despite their seemingly simple beginnings as a tiny seed. To each person, each flower brings a different emotion, and at different times non-identical, too, just as photography affects us all differently.
