BBA Photography Prize 2021

This is your last chance to take part in the BBA Photography Prize 2021! Awards are given to international photographers irrespective of their background with lots of Prizes including a your own solo show at BBA Gallery, cash prizes + more. It’s open to all photographers and the competition includes a shortlist group exhibition at Kühlhaus Berlin in November this year,in one of the city’s most iconic venues for arts and culture.

Kaunas Photo 2021 Open Call extended until 10 JUNE

KAUNAS PHOTO, the longest-running annual photographic festival in the Baltic States, based in Kaunas, is a platform of premieres of emerging talents. “Photo World” (China) titled KAUNAS PHOTO as a festival on crossroads of European photography. The current objective is to become a friendly festival to its audience as well as to the participating artists.

Earth Photo - 2021

Earth Photo is an innovative competition and exhibition developed jointly by Forestry England and the Royal Geographical Society (with IBG) which reflects the organisations’ common interest in enabling a better understanding of the world around us through our complementary disciplines of the Environment and Geography. Earth Photo will focus on photographs or films which describe one of the following subjects; People, Place, Nature, Changing Forests and A Climate of Change – introduced to mark COP26, The UN climate change summit in Glasgow, due to be held in November 2021. The best image in each category will be awarded £250 each.

One must try to overcome his or her fears without suppressing oneself in fear of one’s current limitations or of the uncertainty of the future. To avoid being consumed by the heavy burden of one’s dreams, one must devote one’s energy to actively affirming and nurturing one’s dreams. An act of creating a work that can represent one’s persona is often carried out as stealthily and deliberately as in plotting a conspiracy.
