The Ou is an artist-run gallery and artist residency located on Vancouver Island on the beautiful West Coast of Canada. Our residency, The Ou-telier, is a self-directed experience; a quiet place to decompress, experiment, research, play, and make space to develop new ideas. 

What does the program offer?

Slow down and enjoy the Island life with us! Fall asleep to the sound of the creek running by and wake up to the green of thick ivy.

Dear Artists,

Artists and creators of all disciplines from around the world are invited to apply for Artists in Recency Program at Sunda Coffee & Space. This program is for creators who aims to develop new bodies of work, conduct research or experiment and focus on their practices. This program is for creators who aim to develop a new body of work, conduct research or experiments and focus on their practice. Final results can be in the form of archiving works, exhibitions or performances.

Sunda Coffee & Space is located in the center of Sukabumi, 3 hours from the capital city of Indonesia, Jakarta. As a platform for the creative industry in Sukabumi, Sunda Coffee & Space has held many events that discuss the development of art, culture and creativity.

Live, work and engage with the local community of Red Hook, Brooklyn at our studio DE-CONSTRUKT.

Share a beautiful spacious 3000 sq. ft. loft with beautiful skylights, a photography darkroom, an art book library, wet sinks, and event space. Private fully-furnished bedrooms, one with a separate studio, with shared bathroom and kitchen. Accessible on-street parking and roof access with a view of Manhattan.

Overview

Concert in the 21st Century is designed for classical musicians or ensembles to have an opportunity to work with highly experienced professionals who are engaged in presenting classical music today.

Take a closer look at the existing concert format and explore new ways to present classical and contemporary music. If you are a musician who wants to go beyond the traditional concert experience, this program is an ideal fit.

DO YOU HAVE ENOUGH COURAGE TO COLLABORATE?

MiXER is a cross-disciplinary collaborative “playground” / experiment where artists from different art-forms and cultural backgrounds are encouraged to engage, share methodologies and inspire each other. With the task of working together artists are given the opportunity to regenerate their creative dynamism, exchange and develop new ideas. Experiment with no fear of failure and thus assess their own artistic processes – learning valuable insights from other art forms.

WHY MiXER?

TRACTOR 2019 - last minute call for October

TRACTOR programme is for all those creative minds who either wish to change their environment for a couple of weeks and find inspiration in a new surrounding or simple need undisturbed time to develop or finish up a body of work.

As a TRACTOR guest you will have uninterrupted, self-directed work time. We will not pressure you to deliver finished work; you can focus solely on research and development of ideas. We do however expect the guest artist to make productive use of their time whilst at D’CLINIC and pro-actively engage with other studio holders, staff and the wider environment.
