Open call ONLINE RESIDENCY #2

ONLINE RESIDENCY PROGRAM

collaborate, engage, be inspired, share ideas and concepts

PILOTENKUECHE Online Residency Program gives artists the opportunity to engage online with a global community of artists. Selected artists from various disciplines are invited to participate in the task and discussion based program which includes sessions with experts on topics that expand artist experience. We want to create a space for experimentation with formats and strategies. The fact that artists are potentially on different continents will not impede the possibility of collaborating with each other.

Solitary Retreat in the Nevada Desert

Montello Foundation is a foundation dedicated to support artists who foster our understanding of nature, its fragility and our need to protect it.

The Montello Foundation provides a solitary retreat where artists can experience the vastness of a desert landscape from a safe building, a “base camp,” a unique space for inspiration and creation, a place that provides a shield from distractions in the solitude of the desert.

A building designed with a large shading roof under which there are two distinct spaces: one space for the bodily needs: eating; sleeping; washing, and a stove for the cold desert nights, and a second space for work: for writing; painting; drawing; studying, a space for the first materializations of new ideas.

TanzLabor Ulm - ResearchLab

The TanzLabor Ulm - ResearchLab consists of up to four residencies per year. It is aimed at supporting dance by nurturing emerging choreographers to realise their ideas from concept to live performance.  The TanzLabor Ulm - ResearchLab residency facilitates choreographers to create a work by providing studio space, a stage to perform, travel costs, 3 weeks local accommodation for up to 5 artists, a living allowance and a co-production budget to create and premier a new work. Through a national/international open call the selected 'dance makers' are invited to co-produce the work created in the ResearchLab, to premier in our PerformanceLab program. The ResearchLab powers imagination through dance, it champions innovative ideas and embraces risks.
