PRAXIS

Art can declare itself born from theoretical foundations inextricably linked to a training process, typical of doing by creating and creating by doing. In short, art is a practice (praxis) that requires a series of multisensory connotations for which in an activity of realization of a work of art different situations related to sensations concur, where it is the artist who manages the play of parts and , in some cases, it is he who lets himself be managed by the randomness of what happens. Now to the question of whether or not art is "truth" or "artifice", it must be answered that, upon a more careful reading of the work, it cannot be denied that it preserves these two aspects, to the extent that it is artifice if thought up. studied, rationalized for an end, and it is "truth" as an action of a waste, of an "absence" dictated by the desire, by improvisation or by the unpredictable action of our unconscious (these elements we consider fundamental for the authenticity of 'Opera).

The works planned for this exhibition reflect on the ability of art, as a practice, to be the privileged vehicle of Truth but not without discovering how much it can be a means of persuasion, therefore of Artifice.
