TWISTED

The Art Guild invites all artists, high school and older, to submit artworks for consideration for “TWISTED” a Juried Competition and Exhibition.   

Show us your twist on a great artist’s work!

Twisted will focus on your authentic creation that is inspired by a famous artist or artwork. All compositions must be original; whether you choose to reinterpret, pay homage to, or create a parody of… let’s see your best work!

No Master or direct copies accepted. No photography will be accepted in which the main concept is not your original photograph.  Please create something new and exciting!

Title of your work should be formatted as such:

(Your Title) inspired by (Artist and/or Artwork Title).

Example: Nocturne Landscape inspired by Van Gogh’s Starry Night

CRITERIA All styles from abstract to realism are welcome. All works must be original and have been created in the last five years. References used in the creation of the submitted work must be the artist’s own, or copyright-released for use in this work. The curating committee’s decision is final.

MEDIUMS: Included but not limited to acrylic, charcoal, collage, colored pencil, digital art, ink, mixed media, oil, pastel, pencil, photography, printmaking, sculpture, or watercolor. No Master or direct copies accepted. No photography will be accepted in which the main concept is not your original photograph.  Please create something new and exciting!
