Fidelity Investments The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival has been consistently ranked one of the top fine arts festivals in the Nation, with an average, yearly attendance of 15,000-20,000 educated and well-funded art buyers. The festival features approximately 200 extraordinary artists (international, national and regional) representing a broad range of styles and mediums.

Sell your original creations along a landscaped path beside the beautiful Woodlands Waterway. Located just 30 minutes north of Houston, The Woodlands is home to world-class shopping, dining and entertainment options, more than 200 miles of hike-and-bike trails and 135 charming parks.

August 1, 2022: Call to Artists - application available on www.zapplication.org
October 16, 2022: Application deadline at midnight (CST)

November 5, 2022: Artist Image Jury- LIVE

November 21, 2022: Artist Notification of jury results via email in ZAPPlication profile

December 19, 2022: Invited Artist Payment deadline -Contracts and booth fees due

February 1, 2023: Refund deadline at midnight CST. Marketing campaign kicks off.

April 12 & 13, 2023: Artist Load-in beginning at 9 AM No vehicles on site after 9am Friday

Prizes Details:

During the opening day of the festival, a team of judges who have been selected based on their specific interests, professional knowledge and/or background with our festival, representing The Woodlands Arts Council, will walk the venue to select 2024’s Featured Artist, and our six Best of Show Artists. Judges will score the quality of the artwork and the booth presentation of the top scoring artists from the zapplication jury held in November.

The 2024 Featured Artist will receive a complimentary 3-night stay at a selected Woodlands hotel, a free double 4-booth for the 2024 Festival, and their art featured on all promotional materials for 2024.

The Best of Show Artists receive a free single booth space the following year with priority booth placement and an enhanced presence on our website.

ALL AWARD WINNERS will be jury exempt for two years: no jury fee--no jury process.
