ALL IS LEAF: The Phoenix Earthship Residency

Meet All Is Leaf… A roaming residency program featuring art retreats in novel spaces dedicated to fostering socio-ecological consciousness within the creative practice through deep, meaningful engagement with the earth and others.    

Found among the notes of the poet Johann Wolfgang Goethe is the claim:

“Everything is leaf.”

Through his fascination with plants and an in depth examination of their totality, noting the “morphology” of the natural world, he concluded that every part of a plant is leaf.  On nature, Goethe wrote, “We live within her, yet are foreign to her. Conversing with us endlessly, she never divulges her secret… Nature is even the unnatural. Those who cannot see her everywhere do not see her clearly anywhere.”

Announcing the winners of `La cultura es femenina´ 2020 Awards

On the 15th of February 2020, at Espacio Cultural El Tanque of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain: El Laboratorio de Investigación e Innovación en Arquitectura, Urbanismo, Diseño y Turismo Avanzado (The Laboratoy of Investigation and Innovation in Architecture, Urbanism, Design and Advanced Tourism), a cultural non profit, presents its annual awards ‘La cultura es femenina 2020’ ('Culture is feminine 2020) which aknowledge the best art works and cultural initiatives for gender equality. The awards will be given during the opening of the art exhibition `La Cultura Es Femenina´ to be held et El Tanque

Call for Art: Craftivism: The Art of Action

Exhibition Description: Craftivism is an art-form that fuses art, craft, and action. This broad definition creates endless opportunities for artists to innovative solutions to today’s biggest cultural, structural, and societal issues. At its best, craftivists use their work to build community, give voice, challenge systems of oppression, and demonstrate tangible outcomes. Open to women-identified and non-binary artists from the local, national, and international community, Woman Made Gallery is inviting artwork in any media that focuses on the message to engage the broader community with the intend to effect change.

OPEN CALL TO ACTORS: [INSERT FEELING HERE] immersive art experience

OPEN CALL TO ACTORS: Looking for actors to collaborate on a unique immersive art exhibition for two nights only on 26 & 27 February in the Old Biscuit Factory in Bermondsey.

The performance is part of a unique immersive art exhibition [INSERT FEELING HERE], an artist reflection on chasing our own emotions, the highs and the lows and making space for everything in between. The aim of the event is to make people feel and experience art becoming part of the creation process rather than observers. The audience will dive into the minds of 11 artists and get immersed into their practice.
