Into the Wild 2021 | Online Juried Visual Arts Competition

Open to all artists 18 years and older.  All painting mediums allowed including pencil, charcoal, mixed media, photography, digital painting, collage and sculpture. Artwork may be any wild animal including birds, fish, reptiles, mammals. This is a competition, only the award recipients will be in the online group exhibition. The selection of artwork will be chosen by three art industry professional who will juror and vote based on the number of entries, technical skill, quality of work, originality and the criteria for this event. Cash award to Best in Show, main page slider promotion at CB, blog post at Top Art Awards, news story Art Base, digital art registration at ArtChain.Info and entry into CB’s Artwork of the Year Award.

Emerging Leaders Summit

The Appalachian Trail Conservancy (ATC) is hosting a 2021 Emerging Leaders Summit! The Summit is a virtual experience with participation centered on young people aged 14-35 but open to all.

This summer’s Summit will strengthen connections between young leaders and their networks, spark momentum for youth movements at the intersection of nature and climate justice, and provide a space for artistic creation and performance utilizing the outdoors and the Appalachian Trail as a muse.

RESIDENCY 108 fall session

The application period is currently open for our fall session, October 10th-November 7th, 2021.
The deadline is July 18th, 2021. Applicants will be notified by or before August 1st.

Artists of any age from any country may apply. We accept solo artists as well as collaborating teams of up to three people. We are particularly interested in applicants whose practice involves a defined engagement with landscape, ecology, and or projects that employ historical or first-hand research of the 108 site. Please have your statement reflect this intention. If you have social practice or an interest in community engagement, this program may not be a good fit due to the isolated nature of our site.

“Nature” Digital Art Contest

Draw, have fun and win prizes in Pixarra’s new illustration contest!

Pixarra is announcing a call for artists for a new digital art contest under the theme of “Nature”. Submission is free of charge and is not limited in the number of entries. 2D and 3D artists from around the world are invited to show their art.

All submissions must be digital paintings created with illustration software and the participants must have the full copyrights on them. Traditional art, photos, photo manipulations, collages and animation are not accepted.

Participants can submit their entries at www.pixarra.com/competition between April 25 and May 21, 2021.

International Art Competition Nature

Art Room Gallery is proud to announce their 4th "Nature" Online Art Competition for the month of May. This is an international competition and artists from around the world are welcome to submit their work. The Nature theme may include everything that is nature related (landscapes, seascapes, skies, world of flora and fauna, etc). A variety of interpretations can be submitted (representative, abstract, conceptual). All visual art mediums are acceptable (painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, digital, prints, fiber art, collage or installation art) except sound and video art. All winning artists will receive a digital award certificate. First, second and third place will be largely displayed with an article about the artist and their work.
