Open Call - Galeria Vertebrae

Galeria Vertebrae is calling visual artists for its first open exhibition and catalog. With an open theme and a predilection for new and unrepresented artists of all visual media (painting, drawing, printmaking and photography), traditional or digital, Galeria Vertebrae will be selecting the 10 best submissions to be in a virtual gallery exposition and a digital catalog. The selected artists will be part of a collective exposition in a virtual galery, will have their artwork and statement in the digital publication of the exhibition catalog and will receive a printable certificate of participation from the gallery.
The selected artists will also be considered for future individual exhibitions. 

The selected images will be for exhibition only. Any sales inquiry will be forwarded to the artist. 

By entering this open call the artist declares ownership of any rights over the image and authorize Galeria Vertebrae to use those images to promote this and future editions of open calls in printed or digital media and social networks. Any time an image is used by Galeria Vertebrae the artist's credits will be cited. All rights to the images remain with the artists.

Eligibility: Open to artists worldwide, amateur or professional.

Fee: $10 for artwork (to cover virtual platform and  graphic design costs).

Deadline: October 31st, 2022. All artists will be notified about results up to 10 days after deadline. Exhibition opens december 1st, 2022.
