POSKO VISUAL 2023 || Spectrum of Sentiments: Embrace and Cherish All Emotions

Posko Visual is an annual design exhibition organized by students of Visual

Communication Design at Universitas Negeri Malang. Since its inception in 2013, Posko Visual has showcased a unique concept each year, successfully capturing the attention and enthusiasm of the wider public, particularly the creative community in Indonesia.

This year, Posko Visual revolves around the theme "Human Emotions." Human emotions refer to the distinct feelings and thoughts, biological and psychological states, and a series of tendencies to act (Goleman, 2015:409). Human emotions are divided into two categories: positive emotions, consisting of (1) Joy and (2) Relief, and negative emotions, consisting of (1) Anger, (2) Fear, (3) Anxiety, and (4) Disgust. These emotions are companions that shape human experiences and the perception of being alive.

The diverse range of emotions that humans experience can have a profound impact on every individual's life because each person is free to express and liberate their emotions by

channeling their creative ideas into poster artworks, which will later be showcased in the "Human Emotions" Visual Post Exhibition 2023.

The "Human Emotions" exhibition aims to make Posko Visual 2023 memorable and provide ample inspiration, benefits, and experiences for all participants. Human Emotions can be associated with the exhibited works, as they serve as objects for both the creators and the

audience to express the emotions they are currently feeling or wish to convey by infusing creativity into their artworks.
