Publication in the art magazine. Issue 5, Source of Inspiration

It will be digital and print options A4

About Issue:

We want to focus on the theme of inspiration and the difference in styles that we create through the medium. Interestingly, some artists choose a fantasy theme using paint, others can create amazing abstractions using graphite or even fabric, and others capture the performance through photography.

Directions and materials are really diverse – let’s find out why artists choose a particular medium to convey their ideas!

Call for Art-NOIR

Art Fluent invites artists worldwide to submit artwork to our online exhibit, NOIR.

THEME
Step into the shadows and embrace the mysterious allure of Noir. Defined by moody and atmospheric aesthetics, this artistic genre thrives on the interplay of light and shadow, creating an evocative visual style characterized by deep shadows and high drama. Noir goes beyond a mere genre; it evokes an underlying energy of tension, ambiguity, and emotional intensity like no other. Dark and mysterious on steroids. Submit your shadowy masterpieces and show us NOIR from your perspective.

Portraits of First-Generation Identity in Higher Education

The lives and experiences of students, families, faculty and professional staff who identify as first-generation are the subject of increased attention in higher education across the United States. The success of programs, initiatives, and interventions mostly focus on measurable student “outcomes” but may often miss the complicated narratives of aspiration, sacrifice, accomplishment and identity work first-generation students, families, faculty, staff and communities navigate.  Portraiture can make visible the triumphs and challenges of being first in the family in higher educational spaces.
