Residencies in Latin America (Colombia and Mexico City)

Month-long residencies in Colombia or Mexico City. We offer identical programmes in both countries.

Fully-equipped, private, modern apartment. Separate studio space for production. Gallery space for exhibition of works.

Full artistic and logistical support given to the research and production stages of your work or project.

Full introduction to the local artistic community, if desired.

$1,500 US Dollars per month. This does not include travel or production costs. It does include basic amenities, staple foods and a comfortable, creative environment. Both locations are large enough to accomodate partners and small families.

Bespoke residencies. Programmes are year-round. All disciplines, techniques and media considered.

Midterm Break Family Residency

A new opportunity for artists and writers with children during the Irish midterm break February 15-22nd 2020.

We know many artist’s are parents, too. The logistics and cost of child care can make residencies a challenge – and many residencies don’t even allow children. We wanted to create an affordable week away where kids can be themselves and parents can get some much needed studio time.

Two subsidised residencies will be awarded, one to a writer and one to a visual artist.

Call-out to curators for Fringe Arts Bath 2022

Have an idea for an exhibition? Tell us about it.

Fringe Arts Bath (FaB) is a test-bed for the new, wonderful and sometimes odd. We invite fresh and challenging concepts and encourage you to think outside the box!

FaB Curators' shows can include: performance, intervention, installation, multi-media and video work, photography, drawing, painting, sculpture and all disciplines in between.

FaB is totally open, anyone can apply, with any level of experience: students, graduates, artists, local, national, international.

YICCA 2019 - International Contest of Contemporary Art

The competition’s aim is to promote the enrolled artists, giving them chance to join the international market of contemporary art.

Internationality and networking make YICCA a huge opportunity for the artists, which can: 

• Win a cash prize:

- Euro 3000,00 money prize to the first selected

- Euro 1000,00 money prize to the second selected 

• Promote their art through a variety of channels:

- exhibit the selected artworks in a exhibition space, determined by competition.

- improve the relationship between finalists and critics, curators, gallery owners, public and private art institutions that will have access to this important exhibition.

Creative Process Residency

Applications for 2020 is now open for all disciplines! 

 

Residencies November 2019 – May 15th 2020: Submissions will be accepted on a rolling basis and applicants will be notified within 2-weeks. 

Summer Session 2020 May 16th – August 30th: Applications are due December 8th, 2019.  Notifications will go out in January 2020. 

 

Studios:

Writer’s Den / desk-based workspace: A cosy space with a desk overlooking the river. It is also suitable for curators, researchers, filmmakers, musicians or anyone working mess-free. 

Visual Art Studio: A large, light filled space with a sink . It can be occupied exclusively by one person, or comfortably shared by two artists.
