Call Out for Moving Image Artists from the Inner West, Sydney, NSW, Australia

We are looking for new media, projection, video and artists who can communicate via moving image to submit for MG's Global Projection Festival initiative, which has been seen in Kenya, Indonesia, Colombia, Nepal, Jordan, Peru, Italy, Cambodia, Philippines, Bangladesh, Finland, Spain, Austria, USA and Hong Kong.

Project/Forward: 2047 will be part of the Inner West Fest on 26 March and 5 artists will be commissioned to create works that are relevant for the local community and the local perspective.

Works are to be a moving image work that responds or aligns to the theme. It can be an animation, illustration, video, a rendering, a loop, timelapse, stop-motion: anything that moves. .

CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS: 11TH EDITION OF SCULPTURE IN THE CITY

Sculpture in the City is an award-winning urban sculpture park which launches every year in June. A cultural initiative delivered by the City of London in partnership with 11 local businesses, it is sited in the EC3 (insurance district) area of the City, around the iconic towers of the Gherkin, the Leadenhall Building (The Cheesegrater), Lloyd’s building, 22 Bishopsgate as well as inside Leadenhall Market. The 11th edition of Sculpture in the City offers a very unique opportunity for sculptors, artists, designers and illustrators to not only submit across any one of the five primary categories which are: 3D Sculpture, 2D Graphic Installation, Audio & Visual, Hanging 3D Sculpture and Light & Sound.

Floral Art Contest

Grey Cube Gallery proudly presents the first Floral online art contest for the month of October 2021. Artists from around the world are welcome to submit. The gallery invites artists and photographers to share their artistic vision using any work with interpretation of botanical and floral art (flowers, herbs, fruit, leaves, plants and related floral subcjects). All visual art mediums (except video and sound) are allowed. All winning artists will receive a digital award certificate. The Best of Show winning artwork will be displayed as the poster of the show. $16 for 2 images, $30 for 4 images, $42 for 6 images, and $50 for up to 8 images. Deadline: October 14, 2021.

Norfolk County Council (UK) is looking to award five commissions of up to £60,000 for dynamic new artworks to form the Norfolk Way Art Trail, a brand new outdoor public art trail spanning 250 miles of Norfolk, England.
