This open call is for an online exhibition that explores the concepts of community, coexistence, share space, autonomy, company, social relations, collective, communal self, territory, affiliation, togetherness…

All mediums are accepted but must be able to be digitally represented. This is an opportunity to get creative in representing your artwork (physical or not) in the digital space.

- a 250-word artist statement and 250-word artwork description

SIZZLE!

We are seeking artwork that sizzles in the heat of August: that burns or sears the eye or imagination, that punches with an extra dose of pizzazz or excitement. Open to all media, 2D or 3D, any interpretation of the theme. Artwork may have colors that sizzle or content that heats up. Any style, from realistic to abstract. Have fun! Submit artwork that provokes, challenges, illuminates!

This is an international, online exhibition. Submission by online jpgs. All work must be for sale. No restrictions on size. 50% gallery commission. Minimum sale price: $600. $18 for up to 3 images. Juried by a committee of Bromfield Gallery artists.

New Era Artist*Curator Residency

I am currently working on a new online artist/curator-in-residence program and have opened up a newsletter subscription for those interested in knowing more.

The program is still in its early stages and not yet up and running. However, I would like to gage general interest.

The general idea is to give artists and/or curators an online space through which they can remotely develop, curate and/or showcase a project. Projects being developed within this program are, however, by no means limited to digital formats.

Virtual Residency

Virtual residencies are week-long events in which up to six creative residents agree to work together, on their own projects, from their own homes.

During the week residents join together periodically, and on an ongoing basis, using technology.

The residents that join might be working on anything from glass-blowing to poetry, oils to collage. Over the six days we will get to know one another, share our experiences of working from home and in isolation, and grow our projects separately, but together.
