Music at the Museum with Firefly Burning

If you’re 16-25, working towards a music career and want to be inspired this summer – join experimental folk rock band Firefly Burning for ‘Music at the Museum’ – a week-long residency of collaborative songwriting and music-making.

Taking inspiration from the incredible collections at Manchester Museum, you’ll spend five days from 8-12 July writing, creating and performing new music under the artistic guidance of award-winning artists John Barber and James Redwood from the band Firefly Burning.

The Festival Les Instants Vidéo is an event dedicated to video art and electronic poetry with its multiple forms, monobands, installations, performances, multimedia…

In France, and not only as the events were global, the year 2018 will see here and there thrilling or pathetic celebrations of the lovely month of May 1968.

In our case, the poetic and emancipatory vibe of the hundred thousand flowers of May continue to stimulate delightfully our imagination. And our nostalgia is only for the future.

 

We have the dream of a spring which will make us see May 1968 (events) as a poor rehearsal of the great international upheaval to come:
