Open Call Genius Loci Festival 2024

It's that time again, the competition for this year's Genius Loci Festival in Weimar 2024 officially starts today.

The festival will take place from August 30 to September 1 and artists can submit their work until May 29, 2024.

The three winners will receive a total of €30,000 in prize money and their work will be shown at the festival.

«InterGeneration»

For our Artist in Residence Programme 2025, we are looking for artists who explore the theme of generations in their work, and who challenge and rethink social beliefs.

The Villa Sonnenberg Foundation's Open Call «InterGeneration» is addressed to professional artists of all disciplines with a project proposal that has the potential to question existing concepts about generations, to create new approaches and to appeal to people of different age groups and inspire them to participate.

The Claw - Call for Visual Artists

The Claw is a brand new independent queer-run, queer-focused publication out of Seattle, Washington spotlighting artists in Washington State and beyond. Each issue will feature standout visual artists with information about them, their work, and where to find / follow them, as well as information on upcoming arts, cultural, and nightlife events, providing an all-in-one source for artists and readers alike to find opportunities and events within the community. Artists do not need to reside in Seattle to be considered for publication. 

“Aquarium” Online-Only Group Show

Dive into the topic of water – marine life, waterscapes, environmental issues and more. All media. Artists may enter up to two pieces. Artwork will be displayed online at ocart.org and on a monitor at the OC Center for the Arts, May 2024.
