(Deadline Extended) BBA Artist Prize 2023

A jury of experts debates the entries and ensures an unbiased evaluation and high quality standard. The 1st, 2nd, 3rd Prize and the Audience Award are awarding artists for their visual excellence, storytelling, conceptual thinking, technical craftsmanship and subject depth over a series of works. The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Prize winners will also be awarded with a Group exhibition at the CSR.ART/ Contemporary ShowRoom Berlin by DEEDS NEWS, and the 1st prize winner will receive an additional solo show at BBA Gallery. BBA Prizes will feature the best applications through their social media profiles and website throughout the whole application period.

OPEN CALL FOR ARTISTS // On-site Program

Taking part in a Residency at GlogauAIR in Berlin artists with diverse social and geographical backgrounds, will receive curatorial support, technical support and develop their work in a dynamic community. At the same time they will get to know a new culture and landscape, getting influences from Berlin, renowned for its contemporary culture. During the Residency each artist will live at GlogauAIR’s Studios, having the opportunity to completely immerse themselves in a creative process as well as share ideas and opinions with the other artists in residence.

 

 

CALL FOR DIGITAL ARTIST: HABITAT 3000

Open call: exhibition in Zia Maria

Pizza Zia Maria is pleased to announce an open call to all artists and creatives IN AND AROUND Berlin.

 

Always close to emerging art, Pizza Zia Maria offers its space to exhibitions, installations and environmental interventions that accompany the tasting of pizza with a visual experience.

 

This open call invites visual artists to submit site-specific projects that want to make their work known to a varied public, which frequents the place in large numbers.

 

The room to be set up is approximately 24 square meters and assembly should be completed in 2-3 days.

 

The exhibition will take place in the second half of February and will last 2 or 3 months.

In//Between is a residency program providing artists with four weeks of collaboration, development, and support in a vibrant neighborhood in Berlin. This period culminates in a public exhibition at Green Hill Gallery showcasing the artwork created during the residency. So be prepared for a unique experience with a focus on creative support and artistic exchange in the heart of a diverse community center!

Immigration, Integration and Community

This is an open call from Kulturschöpfer’s Green Hill Gallery for a group exhibition from Jan 23rd until Feb 12, 2023. We are looking for Berlin-based artists who have worked on the topic of immigration and integration. The exhibition will create the backdrop for a podium discussion on the topic of immigration by the federal ministry of the interior on January 23rd. The minister Nancy Faeser will be present at the discussion. Please apply by January 17th with a short artist statement on how your work is related to the topic of immigration, picture(s) of the work(s) you want to exhibit, and your vita. If accepted, your work must be in our gallery by 17:00 on Thursday, January 19th.
