“Emotions” Digital Art Contest

Pixarra is announcing a call for artists for a new digital art contest under the theme of “Emotions”. Submission is free of charge and is not limited in the number of entries. 2D and 3D artists from around the world are invited to show their art.

All submissions must be digital paintings created with illustration software and the participants must have the full copyrights on them. Traditional art, photographies, photo manipulations, collages and animation are not accepted.

Participants can submit their entries at http://www.pixarra.com/competition between January 25, and February 21, 2022.

The winners will be selected by a jury and will be announced on February 24, 2022. The evaluation  criteria will be: quality, technique and thematic relevance.

International Art Competition Landscapes

Contemporary Art Room Gallery is proud to announce their 3rd "Landscapes" Online Art Competition for the month of March. This is an international competition and artists and photographers from around the world are welcome to submit their best representational and non-representational art related to the Landscapes theme: natural elements such as mountains, hills, valleys, deserts, forests, farmland, trees, rivers, lakes, polar regions, rainforests, islands and tropical landscapes. All visual art mediums are acceptable (painting, photography, drawing, sculpture, digital, prints, fiber art, collage or installation art) except sound and video art. All winning artists will receive a digital award certificate.

OPEN CALL FOR “MIGRATIONS” EXHIBITION at the WMA

Humanity has always been on the move. Some people are escaping conflicts, war zones, regime, utter devastation. Others are forced to move because of drought or floods caused by climate change, natural disasters, or other environmental factors. There are people who are escaping poverty who then turn into economic migrants, looking to support their families, provide ‘a better life’ for themselves.
