Open Call – AADK Spain Residency Program 2023 first semester

AADK Spain invites all artists and researchers who wish to work on the topics of body, territory and/or spatiality to participate in its Artist Residency Program.

Theoretical research projects of any scientific or humanistic discipline are eligible for this call, provided that they have the artistic practice as their object of study.

For this call, priority will be given to projects which have the natural environment as their starting point, explore the topic of animality, and/or reflect on our interdependence with non-human species.

OPEN CALL FOR ARTISTS TO PARTICIPATE IN 'ENCLAVE LAND ART ARTISTIC RESIDENCY 2022’

 

ENCLAVE LAND ART is a project co-produced by Consorci de Museus de la Comunitat Valenciana through a program of residencies Cultura Resident, with the support of the Vall de Gallinera council (Alicante, Spain) are glad to announce the open call for the Fourth Edition of the Enclave Land Art Residency. 

Submissions should focus on the dialogue between human beings and nature so as to create an artistic Land Art itinerary in the area.

We will select seven projects from different artistic disciplines that will be developed and produced in the natural environment during the two weeks of the Art Residency, sharing experiences, ideas and a common goal.

curso de performance en Escola Massana de Barcelona | El mundo de la performance: teoría y práctica del arte de acción con Marina Barsy Janer x Isil Sol Vil

Teoría y práctica del Arte de la Performance o Arte de Acción. A través de ejercicios específicos de autoconocimiento corporal y mental se agudizará la intuición y el sentido de comunidad prestando especial atención a la parte sensitiva - energética- política de la cuerpa que habitamos. Se trabajará este arte vital a través de la escucha extrema desde el ser individual hasta el ser comunal. Esta exploración corposensorial irá conjuntamente enlazada con charlas y debates sobre las múltiples teorías corporales (cuerpx-geografía, cuerpx políticx, afectivx / afectadx, cuerpx identitarix y fronterizx, cuerpx ritual, etc.), conociendo artistas que trabajan esta práctica desde diversas geografías y realidades.

Autumn Residency at the NON-TOXIC ELECTRO-ETCHING WORKSHOP in Gran Canaria Island.

The artists will take part in the process of electro-etching carried out by the specialist Alfonso Crujera.

An opportunity to take part in recent experiences in the non-toxic process of electro-etching carried out by the artist and specialist Alfonso Crujera. The residency-workshop is located in the vicinity of the biosphere reserve of the island of Gran Canaria (Canary Islands, Spain). With excellent views to the Atlantic Ocean is surrounded by a quiet, natural environment, ideal for reflection and creation.

Since 2002 the artist Alfonso Crujera has been working in this workshop introducing printmakers from all over the world to the process of nontoxic etching. Author of the book Electro-etching handbook, a safe, non toxic approach.
