Sunny Art Prize

The Sunny Art Prize is the first program outside of museological institutions and programs designed for artists that envisions the decentralisation of the art world as a way to broaden the horizons of both artists and the communities they engage with. It is a yearly art competition in the UK organised by the Sunny Art Centre with a selection of thirty artists who will take part in international activities, including exhibitions and a residency.

Santo Foundation Individual Artist Awards 2018

$20,000.00 Awarded to Visual Artists:  Three artists will be selected to each receive $5,000.00. Five additional awards of $1,000.00 each will also be awarded.  Applications accepted August 1 - October 31, 2018.

ArtWorks Open 2018 Prize Show

ArtWorks Open 2018 is selected by Tai Shani and Emma Talbot. The open prizewinning show is now in its 10th year. Submissions are welcome from artists in UK and Europe. The selectors will award £1,000 1st Prize and Solo Show, £500 2nd Prize and Solo Show, plus two six week residencies. AOP Awards 2019

PHOTOGRAPHY - MOTION - INNOVATION

There are a great many photography competitions out there for professionals and non-professionals alike, but the AOP Awards continues to be regarded as the original and the best - a celebration of exceptional work by the Industry's elite.  Being selected for entry into the AOP Awards Book and accompanying exhibition is one of the highest accolades available to photographers around the world.

Being not-for-profit all revenues generated from the AOP Awards support our work promoting photographers and creators, copyright protection and business best practice.

Exhibition: 15 April - 31 May 2019. One Canada Square, Canary Wharf.

International Call: SpallArt Prize Salzburg

The Salzburger Kunstverein announces the SpallArt Prize Salzburg. This international award for excellence in contemporary art is a rotating prize. For the years 2019 to 2021, the focus will be on contemporary photography. Sponsored by SpallArt, the SpallArt Prize Salzburg consists of €4,000 and a residency at the Salzburger Kunstverein.

Deadline: 19 October 2018

Who can apply: An early-to-mid-career photographer in or from the UK

The award: £2,000 to undertake a narrative photography project with a social or political context; approx. £1,000-worth of printing at Metro Imaging; support from the Trust towards public and industry exposure of the work; membership of Shutter Hub.
