Vigo Hubbard's Vaction Home

Fellow artist,

Pew Pew is putting together a band of wild creatives to design the spaces within an old manor house to create a Dada inspired soiree. The house was originally built in the 1800s and is fit with secret stairwells and a creepy attic. Each room will be designed by a different artist, and together we will co-create a bizarre home that will be the focus of CAMP mini-festival for 2 of the 4 nights.

The design and experience aim to bring the lore of Vigo Hubbard's Vacation home to life. The more absurd, unexpected, and challenging the status quo, the better! Feel free to choose one of these or come up with your own.

LNR Open Call. Exhibition in Public Space

For the past year and a half, we have been hosting artists‘ works on the premises of the RED CARPET ART AWARD. We have been featuring to everyday commuters and passers-by, the work of Kristina DESKA Nikolić, Gert Resinger, Vukadin Filipović, Lorenz Wanker, and Elsa Martini (just to name a few), and we are keen on continuing to do so.

This time, we are offering national and international artists a slot in Volkstheater Station (U3 Line, the „Volkstheater“ Stop, exit MuseumsQuartier). The open call is directed to everyone who has a great concept. However, we kindly ask you to consider the following points before submitting your application:

The 8th Sea: the disobedience of water

Artists and collectives are invited to submit an artwork proposal for an exhibition that will be organised on the occasion of the Seawomen Parade 2.

The "Seven Seas" is a figurative term for all the seas of the known world. The Greek historian Herodotus believed, as did many of his contemporaries, that the Mediterranean Sea was the centre of the world and the cradle of civilisations, so he identified the seven seas according to his perspective. Through the ages, the Seven Seas have become the fantasy setting of unforgettable voyages and discoveries. By now we know that the Mediterranean Sea is not the centre of the world, just as there are other seas besides it in which stories of pirates, discoverers and adventurers have been told.
