Interactive Art Installation: Applications Sought

We are looking to commission an artist or collective to envision and create an interactive art installation to mark the 10th Anniversary of the To Absent Friends festival in Scotland.

The 10th To Absent Friends Festival will take place across Scotland 1-7 November 2023.

We want to mark this occasion by creating a new, interactive artwork that engages members of the public in remembering and celebrating people in their lives who have died.

LIGHT OUR VISION ruft Künstler:innen auf, mit ihren Beiträgen Nicht-Orte in Licht-Orte zu verwandeln. Angefragt sind Lichtkunstwerke jeglicher Form - klassische, großflächige Projektionen mit Bewegtbildern wie auch Dia- projektionen, Lichtskulpturen, interaktive Beiträge, rein szeno- grafische Ansätze, klassische Beleuchtungskunst. Oriel Myrddin Gallery are delighted to be working with Amgueddfa Cymru’s National Wool Museum as part of Amgueddfa Cymru and Arts Council Wales, Perspective(s) collaboration.

Oriel Myrddin and Amgueddfa Cymru’s National Wool Museum are inviting you to respond to our call-out. We’re looking for an inspirational, Wales based maker to create new work that reflects Wales’s cultural and ethnic diversity and to examine museum collections through a decolonial lens.

Open Call - GENIUS LOCI WEIMAR Festival- 2023

Genius Loci Weimar is seeking innovative ideas for the Facade Projection Festival on September 15th to 17th, 2023.
Applicants must submit a 30-second video clip outlining their design concept by June 30th, 23:59

This years festival is focusing on video mapping performance art and AI-based art.

The main requirements for the competition include addressing AI-based art, creating an innovative audiovisual video mapping design, respecting the Genius Loci (the spirit of the location), and demonstrating a sophisticated understanding of the location's history and architecture.

The winning production will be showcased as a video mapping on the facade of the Bauhaus Museum.

Yellow Art Contest

We are pleased to announce our 1st Yellow online Art Competition for the month of June 2023. Artists are welcome to submit any art featuring the color yellow or a shade of yellow (beige, lemon yellow, canary yelow, golden yellow). All forms of visual art are acceptable (painting, photography, drawing, sculpture, digital, fiber art, collage, and installation), except sound and video art.
