Other Spaces - take part in the next PEP group exhibition in Berlin

We are currently accepting submissions for our upcoming exhibition in Berlin!

The selected artists will take part in the next PEP group show at B-Part Exhibition in May / June 2024.

Theme: OTHER SPACES

How does a space influence our attitude and perception, and how does it participate in the plurality of our identity? For this upcoming exhibition, we invite artists to explore the concept of "Other Spaces" that exist around us. Near the streets and landscapes that we know and see every day, there also exist “heterotopias” that societies and cultures tend to produce, such as cinemas, museums, libraries, clubs, train stations, prisons, schools or offices - a plurality of parallel realities, each modulating our behaviour in written and unwritten ways.

Monochromatic

Call For Entry: Monochromatic

International Submission Deadline:
January 15th, 2024 11:59 PST

Monochromatic is an exhibition exploring the emphasis of color in the captured image. A monochrome photograph is commonly considered a black and white or grayscale, but a monochromic color scheme is a balance of tones, tints, and shades of a single hue. Potential subject media includes but is not limited to early photographic processes, such as cyanotype, analog film, infrared, sepia, tintype, etc., and modern digital post-production techniques. What's your interpretation of monochromatic?

LANDSCAPES – an International Juried Photo Exhibit

Landscape photography shows spaces within the world that are sometimes vast and unending, other times microscopic. Landscape photographers typically capture the presence of nature but can also focus on man-made features or disturbances of natural vistas. Many landscape photographs show an unsullied depiction of nature, devoid of human influence—instead featuring subjects such as strongly defined landforms, weather, ambient light and other sublime elements. Beyond purely aesthetic considerations, landscapes often contain intensely personal and emotional subjectivities, hinting at secret histories of fondness, love, and nurturing, or past emotional turbulence, loss, and regret.
