Chromart Gallery is delighted to present the first solo exhibition of the Persian artist Shahryar Khorasani. “Monochrome Dreams” unveils an extraordinary collection of dark, surrealistic figurative art that offers a profound glimpse into the depths of the artist’s psyche.

Khorasani’s masterful charcoal and graphite pieces transport viewers to otherworldly landscapes, where expressive figures emerge amidst dynamic motifs, creating an enchanting atmosphere of exploration. Each artwork draws you deeper into a realm where reality intertwines with the surreal, inviting you to delve into the depths of the artist’s imagination.

The exhibition also showcases Khorasani’s exceptional talent in ink works, where he meticulously crafts intricate details using the stippling technique. He weaves a tapestry of shadows and light with unwavering precision, capturing the delicate nuances of form and texture and giving life to a monochromatic world that echoes hidden emotions.

Drawing inspiration from a rich blend of human emotion, architecture, and his academic background in neuroscience, Khorasani’s artistic vision is as unique as it is captivating. Through focused meditation, he seamlessly merges his subconsciousness with deliberate planning, creating an exquisite interplay between realism and dream. The sparing use of symbolic elements further bridges the gap between the tangible and the ethereal.

“Monochrome Dreams” invites you on an introspective journey where you can surrender to the enigmatic allure of a dark surreal art. As you navigate through space, the veil of the familiar is lifted, revealing a demi world that takes centre stage. Prepare to be captivated, intrigued, and inspired as you immerse yourself in the mesmerizing dark realm of “Monochrome Dreams”, a testament to the boundless imagination and profound depth of Shahryar Khorasani’s artistic prowess.
