The Black History + 2022 print

We are now accepting submissions for our upcoming group exhibition

Artists from all countries are welcome to submit their works for consideration. You are welcome to submit works in any printmaking medium. (mono print, mono type, woodcut, digital, mixed media etc).

During Sri Lanka’s major civil struggles, rulers used terrorism to brutally and sexually torture journalists, artists, civil activists and unarmed people. Ranil led Bhishana through “Battalanda” torture camps, and the Rajapaksa regime terrorized the people by employing their cronies in the war in the north, using state power, stealing people’s wealth, and killing unarmed people. “Ranil-Rajapaksa” then and now is sowing other forms of state violence and terrorism in Sri Lanka, and attacking unarmed people with thugs. Against this state terrorism, “The Black History + Prints 2022″

Rulers in many countries of the world have terrorized people by brutally and sexually torturing journalists, artists, civil activists and unarmed people for their personal and political goals. Together as one country, let’s actively act against these cruel people, against state terrorism, “The Black History + Prints 2022”.
