LIGHT OUR VISION ruft Künstler:innen auf, mit ihren Beiträgen Nicht-Orte in Licht-Orte zu verwandeln. Angefragt sind Lichtkunstwerke jeglicher Form - klassische, großflächige Projektionen mit Bewegtbildern wie auch Dia- projektionen, Lichtskulpturen, interaktive Beiträge, rein szeno- grafische Ansätze, klassische Beleuchtungskunst. Die Bewerbung steht sowohl Kollektiven als auch Einzelkünst- ler:innen offen.

Bewerbt euch mit einer groben Idee für das LIGHT OUR VISION Festival! Wir erwarten eine Präsentation als PDF mit folgendem Inhalt:

• Ideenskizze / Motivation
• Selbstdarstellung / VITA
• mind. zwei Referenzprojekte
• Arbeitsproben (Bild und/oder Video)

Richtet die Bewerbung bitte bis zum 04.07.2023, 22 Uhr (MEZ) an: post@lightourvision.de Größere Mails (>10MB) können via WeTransfer.com oder ähnlichen Diensten geschickt werden.

Mit den künstlerischen Beiträgen kann einerseits der Ist-Zustand aufgegriffen und kommentiert werden, andererseits können sie den Austausch von Ideen zur Neugestaltung der Stadt anregen. Die Anzahl der Beiträge, denen eine Plattform geboten werden kann, hängt von der Qualität und dem Umfang der Einreichungen ab. Wir sind offen für ein möglichst breites Spektrum an unterschiedlichen Ideen und Konzepten. Das Gesamthonorar für alle künstlerischen Arbeiten (exkl. Technik) beträgt 40.000 Euro. LIGHT OUR VISION calls on artists to transform non-places into light-places with their contributions. Light art works of any form are invited - classical, large-scale projections with moving images as well as slide projections, light sculptures, interactive contributions, purely scenographic approaches, classical lighting art. The application is open to collectives as well as individual artists.

Apply with a rough idea for the LIGHT OUR VISION Festival! We expect a presentation as PDF with the following content:

• Idea sketch / motivation
•  Self-presentation / VITA
•  At least two reference projects
• Samples of work (image and/or video)

On the one hand, artistic contributions can be used to address and comment on the current state of the city, and on the other hand, they can stimulate the exchange of ideas for redesigning the city. The number of contributions that can be given a platform depends on the quality and scope of the submissions. We are open to the widest possible range of different ideas and concepts. The total fee for all artistic works (excluding technology) is 40,000 euros. Make Chemnitz visible!
