OPEN-CALL ARTBOX VR | StART Art Fair London

São Rafael Galleries present a collective exhibition in virtual reality with artists from all traditions and lines of thought, emerging and renowned, in a celebration of contemporary art. The exhibition is part of the Artbox VR project, winner of the 2023 Iberian Awards in the Best Use of Technology category, and will take place within the scope of StART Art Fair London, taking place at the renowned Saatchi Gallery in London, United Kingdom, between the 11th and 15th October'23. Artbox VR offers a museum-quality experience, professionally curated to induce a stimulating, varied and coherent viewer experience. We propose a virtual and immersive exhibition that invites you to discover the universe of contemporary art through virtual reality. An exhibition with total freedom of movement. A moment of fantasy in which the visitor is completely immersed in the dreamlike and pictorial universe of contemporary art, crossing different rooms where huge projections of works allow the visitor to feel completely immersed in the works created by the artists in a second plastic, sensorial, vibrant and unforgettable dimension. Applications are open from painting, mixed media, collage, video art, giclée artists, among others, to exhibit alongside the renowned artists who will be featured at Artbox VR, represented by São Rafael Galleries at this event.

This year, StART art fair will celebrate its 10th anniversary at Saatchi Gallery in London. The fair remains independent and will remain true to StART spirit of showcasing emerging and established artists from around the world. Last October (2022), over 15,000 people came to discover works by over 100 emerging and established artists from 25 countries, including South Africa, Portugal, Colombia, India, Austria, South Korea and Ireland, providing collectors and art enthusiasts the opportunity to discover the most exciting works from established and developing global markets. The fair usually receives great attention from the international press and is regularly named by numerous online and print publications in the top ten fairs to visit. The application to integrate Artbox VR within the scope of StART Art Fair London has a registration fee of 30 EUR and, if approved, participation will have a fee of 100 EUR. Interested parties should fill out the form and attach Artist Statement/ CV Artwork / Portfolio. Each artist can participate with a maximum of 3 works.
