PHOTOGRAPHY NOW 2019

Photography Now is CPW’s annual call to discover the most compelling photography projects in the US and beyond. This call is juried by a different leading curator every year, who culls a meaningful group from the submissions to be exhibited at CPW’s galleries. Awards include the Director’s Purchase Prize, the Jurors’ Prize and Honorable Mentions.

ELIGIBILITY

CPW’s annual Photography Now exhibition celebrates the plurality of photography. All photographic techniques and approaches are welcome, from analog to digital, fine art, directorial, narrative, documentary, political, social justice, identity, portrait, landscape, still life, mixed media incorporating photography, photographic installations, digital imaging and collage! Submissions are accepted from all over the world, and professional, amateur, and student artists are all welcome to apply. Over $2,500 in prizes will be awarded!

Director’s Choice Purchase Prize: One photograph will be selected by the Executive Director, and purchased for CPW’s Permanent Print Collection.

Submissions accepted only at cpw.buzz/submit PN19. No submissions will be accepted outside of the online submission process. 

ENTRY FEE $40: Please submit 5 JPGs, 2000px on longest side.

Up to 10 additional images: $5 each

Bio (max: 200 words)

Artist Statement (max: 250 words)

Exhibition print sizes will not determine eligibility, however they will be considered when selecting the number of framed pieces that will be included in the exhibition.
