This nationwide community mural program is a celebration of communities across America and an important part of a new or newly transformed facility. Every mural is a unique, original artwork. NOW Art is a public art agency and we work with our clients to curate artworks and engage artists across the country. Today, community murals are featured in hundreds of locations, and original artworks are unveiled weekly in newly transformed facilities.

ELIGIBILITY

Producer Call out for a Theatre Project.

Dear Creatives!

My name is Anya Ostrovskaia, I’m a London based theatre director looking for a passionate theatre producer to collaborate on my theatre project.

About me: I'm a graduate of the Central School of Speech and Drama, working as a theatre director and writer. My work explores themes of trauma, migration, and politics, brought to life through dark comedy and inventive storytelling. I’m passionate about pushing boundaries and creating multi-disciplinary theatre that provokes thought and challenges perspectives.

The Surreal

Surrealism is an artistic exploration of the human psyche, dreams, and the unconscious mind. Through bizarre and fantastical scenes, juxtaposition, or symbolism, we challenge you to capture and present images that defy logic and question the boundary of perception. Invite us to a realm where the conscious and unconscious blur and reality transform into the surreal.

The Surreal is an international open call for photographers ages 18 and older. All forms of two-dimensional images, traditional and non-conventional media, and conventional or alternative processes with a subjective analog or digital photographic base are welcome for submission.

Rethinking exhibition models of the Venice Biennale: from globalization to the most recent form of decolonization

Course online

18.02- 06.03.25

Deadline for applying: 06.02.2025

This workshop online provides an immersive and active understanding of curatorial practice and its developments in the last decades. Through the work of some of the most remarkable curators, the students will develop an understanding of how curating works by looking back at its history and by examining certain case studies. The analysis of specific editions of the Venice Art Biennale will give us the possibility to look to the predecessors and the influences of specific curators on their work. But it is also an opportunity to explore the ways in which the curatorial practices are changing and examine increasingly diverse approaches to exhibition-making.
