Open Call for Artists Round 61 October to December 2024

Since 2007 "PILOTENKUECHE" has been an international art program based in Leipzig. The independent project is run by artists to support and empower artists.

The international art program selects up to 12 international artists and two local artists, per three months round to collaborate in our 465m² studio and realize two exhibitions during their stay. Located in an inspiring, remodeled factory, our concept aims to create a space that can lead to experimental collaboration and discourse between participants and the larger Leipzig community.

View-Self Online Artist Residency

“View-Self” - Exploring Cultural Identity

Nexus Artspace proudly announces an open call for our international online artist residency. We are seeking artists from diverse backgrounds to explore the rich and complex theme of Cultural Identity.

What is Cultural Identity?

ArtMill Residency

Beginning in 2005, with the acclaimed american artist/activist Kim Abeles as our first artist-in-residence, ArtMill has hosted artists each season to come and have the luxury of time and space away from urban life to focus on their projects. Generally, the theme is related to an aspect of ArtDialog's general mission or current programming.

Our residency program is open to artists in the broad sense of the word: poets, scientists, writers, dancers, musicians, thinkers, creators, farmers, builders, performers or painters of the future.

Residencies are a week to a few months in duration and encompass the artist becoming a member of our community and network, whether that be helping out in the gardens, cooking farm-to-table meals, or building a new woodshed.
