Teatri Riflessi has opened its call for short performances: live works no longer than 15 minutes of contemporary dance, theatre, circus or multidisciplinary performance.

VII International Bad Video Art Festival OPEN CALL

The VII edition of BAD VIDEO ART FESTIVAL will take place at L.A.M.A. (Laboratorio Artistico Multidisciplinare Autogestito), Cosenza, Italy, in December 2024.

The International Bad Video Art Festival (BVAF) is an independent, artist-run initiative. The Festival has been held since 2017. Video artists and B-movie fans Natalia Monakhova and Andrey Slaschilin once decided to explore whether something like bad video art exists. It is well known that B-movies have long since formed a unique cultural niche with their own heroes and fans. In other art sectors, however, the concept of “bad” has not been explored as actively.

Whether you are an artist, musician, writer, educator, scientist, or performer, we invite you to join our unique space for a short residency of 1 to 3 days.

Our aim is to support and promote artists while boosting the local hospitality industry, encouraging sustainable tourism in the valley.

During the residency, participants will have the opportunity to organize a public event of their choice. This could be a concert, film screening, lecture, workshop, presentation, or any other format that fosters interaction and exchange with the community.
