Submission Call For LONDON BASED SOLO COMMERCIAL EXHIBITION

Rotate Gallery is offering 12 emerging artists the opportunity to host a month long solo exhibition with us. 

Eligibility

Must be located/reasonably able to commute to London

Must not have previously held a solo/solo commercial show.

Find Your Artistic Style

• Rotate's exhibitions are fully curated by each artist, giving them crucial insight into their own artistic style as well as the intricacies of exhibiting
  • Each artist is able to look at their works as a whole and explore how best to represent themselves through their art to an audience
• Our art department will evaluate and match all artists with venues, taking into careful consideration the visual aesthetics of each work and their suitability in venues
  • This means that artists are free to choose any works they wish to exhibit without the constraints of the conditions of traditional art galleries

Develop Yourself As An Artist

• Rotate is keen to give as much freedom as possible to artists. All artists can:
  • Choose any artworks they wish
  • Value their works (with some input from our team)
  • Change exhibiting works during each exhibition

Set Yourself Up For The Future

• Rotate Gallery provides a number invaluable services for each artist to set them up for success in the future such as:
  • Artist headshots, given for free to each artist to use as they wish after their exhibition
  • Essential workshops on how to write artist statements and catalogue essays
  • The rare opportunity to sell commercially and in a solo exhibition at the early stages of their career
• Each artist is also given mentorship from our art department on valuation, curation and more
  • Advice is always available for each artist every step of the way but we are keen to encourage each artist to forge their own way and trust their instincts.
• We also provide an artist honorarium of 60% to each artists and take no fees
  • Unlike the fees required in other commercial galleries, our artists are not required to heavily invest financially in their exhibitions
  • We are committed to making the art world a fairer place.
