OPEN CALL: Publication Opportunity for Emerging Artists Volume 19

Apply to have your work considered in the art book, Volume 19, by Friend of the Artist. We are dedicated to elevating the work of emerging artists of all mediums around the world through our high quality art books and caliber of exposure, and are excited to partner with Vision Project for this volume.

This volume will be sent out to over 40 galleries and art institutions and available for purchase at Barnes and Noble and Amazon. Accepted artists will also have a written statement about their works by an arts writer and have a 4-page spread of their work.

Volume 19 will be juried by an experienced group of jurors including Haylee Barsky, Emie Diamond, Lidija Khachatourian

Accepted artists will work closely with FOA in the bookmaking process. Each artist will have at least four-pages dedicated to their work, and a short essay written about their work by an arts writer. Volume 19 will release in Spring 2024.

Artists will also receive a complimentary digital copy of the publication, post on social media, and a discount on books for family and friends.

Eligible Artists

Artists of all academic disciples are welcome to apply. This includes painting, sculpture, photography, installation, and performance art. Works must be submitted in a printable format.
