Love & Wisdom: The Skills of Maturity. Universal wisdom teachings speak of the Skills of Youth and Maturity. These are not about chronological age, but rather the inner  awareness, the Skill, with which a person approaches life. The two Skills of Maturity are having Love and Wisdom to create healing and community. The Healer has the Love to guide transformational process to restore wholeness; the Sovereign and Teacher have the Wisdom to create peace and prosperity in the human community, with nature and the spirit realm. In this show, participating artists have the opportunity to express their experiences with healing and community-building, love and wisdom, through their artwork.

Love & Wisdom: The Skills of Maturity is the second of two shows presented by Life Force Arts Center in 2018 based in the Life Force Arts Method (LFAM), a powerful psychological and spiritual tool for understanding and building positive relationships from the inner world to the outer world.  Passion & Vision: The Skills of Youth (February 3 - June 27, 2018) explores universal wisdom teachings about two skills of Youth: having a vision for one's life, and having the passion to carry it out. Love & Wisdom: The Skills of Maturity (July 20 , 2018 - January 9, 2019) focuses on the traditional the skills of Maturity: having Love and Wisdom to create healing and community that allows the flowering of the True Self.

The Life Force Arts Method (LFAM) is a powerful psychological and spiritual tool for understanding and building positive relationships from the inner world to the outer world.  Working with the arts as healing ritual, LFAM is a non-denominational approach to greater wholeness and extraordinary personal growth. Developed over a period of thirty years by Joan Forest Mage, Life Force Arts Method is a map of life: a modern version of universal wisdom teachings that value love, true self and creative community. To understand more about the Life Force Arts Method, please read Joan Forest Mage's article and/or attend an Intro to Life Force Arts Method class

Exhibits at Life Force Arts create the sacred space to hold performances, concerts, poetry readings, workshops, lectures and other events as healing rituals based on each show's theme. Joan Forest Mage, LFA's Artistic Director  says, “Our goal for these shows on the Skills of Youth & Maturity is to help people deepen their awareness and utilization of the enormous spiritual power of the arts for healing, learning, communicating and forming bonds of community."

LFA welcomes artists who have presentations associated with their work, such as lectures, discussions, rituals, guided meditations, performances or workshops. We are especially looking for presentations related to the Skills of Youth, to be given between July 24, 2018 - January 8, 2019.

At LFAC, we work with energy and beings of the Light, and look for artwork that inspires and uplifts viewers. Our policy is that if artwork has a cathartic element and helps viewers face the shadow side, it must also have the alchemy to integrate what has been purged into a new, whole, positive form.
