Issue 01 : Baptism

Run by Nat Ware (@warenat on instagram), an artist raised in the Catholic Church and attended 12 years of Catholic schooling, Residual Believers was started as a platform for other artists whose work has been influenced by their experience with Catholicism. Whether you no longer believe, have a complicated relationship with your faith, or are somewhere in between, Residual Believers is a place to examine Catholicism, liberation theology, and personal stories of faith through art and writing. Residual Believers is a quarterly publication, both digital and print, that is open call, and takes submissions at residualbelievers@gmail.com.

Accepting submissions around the theme of Baptism. You do not have to be Catholic in order to submit to the publication, if you feel your work pertains to the scope of the issue, please feel free to share it with us!

In the submbission email, please include your: name, pronouns, artist statement + biography, and social media info. Images should try to have a DPI of at least 300. 

Accepts all mediums that can be shown digitally or in print.
