Open Call | An Altered Landscape

An Altered Landscape is a new online journal for contemporary landscape photography. We are interested in seeing work from photographers worldwide exploring wide ranging contemporary themes such as human impact, ecology and the sublime. We will be launching later this year and are looking for artists to feature.

An Altered Landscape is a new online journal for contemporary landscape photography, featuring new artists and photographers every week. We are run by photographers who have previously been involved with online magazines, blogs and social groups and we are keen to engage viewers in a longer format as an alternative to continuous feeds of images on social media.

We are looking for projects which explore any contemporary theme relevant to the landscape, selected artists will be featured on our brand-new website as well as social media. We are particularly interested in photographers who are working with a series of images as a part of a wider project and who can explain their ideas and thoughts to our readers.
