Tough Art Residency Program

The Tough Art Residency Program is now accepting applications! This summer residency invites artists to work with museum staff and visitors to create an interactive work of art that is “tough” enough to withstand rigorous engagement. Artists are to be in residence June through mid-September 2022. During this time, they will work in the museum to develop and create new works to be exhibited in Fall/Winter 2022-2023.

Each residency artist/team receives a $5,000 honorarium and a $3,500 materials budget.

Künstlerhaus Götz Artist Residency

The Residency

Künstlerhaus Götz is a private art initative founded in 2019 by the artist Sisi Fuss.

Intended to support and foster artists at any stage in their life-cycle, the residency program offers the use of a studio space in a village building, outside of Potsdam/Berlin. The area is surrounded by protected nature preserves, harbors, wetlands, ancient forests, and historic bodies of water.

Taking part in a residency at Künstlerhaus Götz, up to 7 international artists will receive support, advice, and become a part of a community that acts as base near Berlin/Potsdam to be able to visit the city, while having a natural retreat to call home.
