Call for Art | Seeing Clearly | Online Exhibition

Explore Moments of Clarity and Inspiration in our Online Exhibition: Showcase your Work to a Global Audience. We are now accepting entries for our online exhibition.

Attention artists! We invite you to participate in our online exhibition and display your work to a global audience of art enthusiasts. With this exhibition, we want to explore the moments of clarity and inspiration that lead to exceptional art. We encourage you to interpret those moments in your own way – whether it's the peaceful stillness of an early morning or the tranquility of your garden – and share your unique expression with the world.

Artistic call-out for residency Isla De Crear 2023

Isla de Crear is a creative centre, combining a range of different disciplines in order to

explore creating and crafting in a new method, away from commercial constraints or

industry guidelines, based on the principles of the Fantasism manifesto.

We are purposefully keeping the theme as broad as possible, and encourage you to

think as tangentially as possible. We are not looking for the same ol’ works, but

instead want to encourage all our visiting creatives to challenge themselves into

doing new things and exploring new forms.

Call for Artists: Crocker Art Museum Art Auction Season 2023

Artists from Sacramento and beyond are encouraged to submit their work to the 2023 Art Auction Season to help support the Crocker Art Museum’s exhibitions and community-building programs and classes. We hope you will be one of these artists! Your contribution to this annual fundraiser directly benefits the thousands of children, families, and adults served by the Museum every year.

Artists may choose to submit artwork to the Art Auction for consideration, donate a work to Big Names, Small Art (BNSA), or both! All entries for Art Auction and BNSA must be submitted online through their respective forms. Art submission forms that are emailed or sent through the mail will not be accepted.

About the 2023 Art Auction Season

bildingship

“bildingship” is a working fellowship for young artists aged up to 31 years, to use bilding as space for their own artistic work as well as actively engaging in the regular workshop programme for the duration of seven months (prolongation to one year is possible), including part-time employment (maximum income 450€ per month). The aim is to convey the concept and working methods of bilding to the artists, while at the same time, imparting artistic processes directly to the children and adolescents based on the artists on-site work, to establish mutual ties and to promote and expand international discourse in the field of art and cultural mediation with young people, based on the practical experiences gained at bilding.

Call for Artists: HYGGE Art Exhibition

hyg·ge (pronunciation: hyoo-guh) noun

1. a quality of coziness and comfortable conviviality that engenders a feeling of contentment or wellbeing, evoked by simple comforts such as being wrapped in a blanket, having good conversations, enjoying food, etc.

2. a form of everyday togetherness; a pleasant and highly valued everyday experience of safety, equality, personal wholeness and a spontaneous social flow

We’ve all been there: trudging through snow, trying to shield our faces from wind so cold it hurts, questioning our lives and life itself.
