BUP Book Award 2021 - deadline extended

The second edition of BUP Book Award – a competition for all photographers around the world, regardless their age, gender or nationality – which goal is to promote photobook as a way of expression, is waiting for your submissions! 

We are looking for unique photo/visual art projects (no book dummies!) which are intended to be published as a book. No matter what technique you work in, no matter what subject you cover – let our jurors see your project and get it published as a book!

So if you believe your project is completed, don’t wait too long and submit it to the second edition of BUP Book Award contest!

Our jury will create a shortlist of the 20 best submissions at the beginning of April, 2021. The winner will be chosen by BLOW UP PRESS editors and announced on April 14, 2021.

The 2021 BUP Book Award jury:
* Gloria Oyarzabal (Spain) - artist photographer and the winner of the 2020 Paris Photo - Aperture Foundation PhotoBook of the Year Prize;
* Sebastian Hau (France) - co-creator of the two photobook fairs: Cosmos and Polycopies;
* Hubert Humka (Poland) - photographer and photography lecturer at the Lodz Film School;
* Daria Tuminas (the Netherlands) - curator at FOTODOK in Utrecht;
* Danaé Panchaud (Switzerland) - director and curator of the Photoforum Pasquart in Biel;
* Giuseppe Oliverio (Italy) - cultural entrepreneur and creator of PHmuseum platform;
* Andrea Copetti (Belgium) - founder of the Tipi Bookshop and Tipi Photobook Workshop.
