MUSE - Metamorphosis

Metamorphosis - ' after' the 'form'. The caterpillar 'weaves a cloak' of a cacoon to becomes a butterfly. A divine metaphor to remind us that change is imprinted, change is required, and it reveals unseen capabilitities. Fear and thrill, longing and delusion, retreat and awakening,  accompany the turmoil of the senses, exalted by the urge of the individual...or the world to transform.

Glena Art Studio is inviting you to apply for the 2nd edition of Muse - Masquerade ball. Live music. Art, hosted for a second year by Candid Arts Gallery.
Muse - Metamorphosis will take place at between the 20th and the 22nd of September, with private view on the 21st and a Masquarade ball on the 22nd of September.
Tell us how your artwork traces a journey of transformation you have been through.
Do you recognise the triggers of such process? Was that an eve, a person, a challenge, a sentiment? Could it be love, or hatred, passion, loss, knowledge or a discovery? How did it affect your cretive approches, and how would you address that in a visual language?  In this edition of Muse we are inviting artist to participate in a collective show to share their experience of transformation, present its various
manifestations and einlighten us how much it is nowadays needed.
