The Annual New England Regional Juried Exhibition is a juried show featuring the best of representational painting, drawing, and sculpture by New England artists who work in the realist tradition.

The exhibition will be on view in the historic President's Gallery at the Guild's Newbury Street location. The entire gallery has been renovated and features new furniture, carpets, and LED lighting. The President's Gallery also features a skylight to allow viewing of artworks in natural light.

Work should be representational with a strong academic background. Accepted painting and drawing media include oil, acrylic, watercolor, gouache, pastel, graphite, charcoal, pen and ink, and pencil. Please check if using any other medium. Selected artists will have the opportunity to exhibit where the great artists of the Boston School showed their work.

Prizes Details:

Awards and $1400 worth of cash prizes will be awarded as follows:

First Place: Gold Medal & $500.00

Second Place: Silver Medal & $250.00

Third Place: Bronze Medal & $150.00

Glenn G. MacNutt Award for Boston School Painting & $250.00

Robert Douglas Hunter Award & $100.00

New England Watercolor Society & $150.00

Award(s) of Merit & $50.00

Jurors select artworks for the show from the images submitted, but awards are determined after the pieces have been delivered to the Guild.
