Iran Open Call

Long before the protests in Iran, the Kato Wong Gallery has supported Iranian artists. We have received, clever, beautiful contemporary art from Iranians around the world and exhibited several in our exhibition Is This Hope?

In the wake of the imprisonment of British people in Iran, we recognise that the relationship between the UK and Iran needs to be rebuilt.

I am blessed to have known many Iranian people in London personally and through my work. Not much is known about Iran in this country and I want to start changing it and build a peaceful relationship between our countries.

I am opening up my online gallery to Iranian artists. I will curate a group exhibition by Iranian artists anywhere in the world. 

Kato Wong Gallery is a London-based online gallery. Run by artist, film director and curator Kato Wong, the gallery has hosted 6 exhibitions by emerging and unknown artists from around the world.
