Open Call: Women in Art Fair

Women in Art Fair invites submissions from women artists for its OPEN CALL, a curated gallery exhibition to be held at the inaugural Women in Art Fair at Mall Galleries, London this autumn.

Women in Art Fair is a new art fair dedicated to re-addressing the gender imbalance in the art industry. It seeks to create a positive global fair, at which women artists are given an opportunity to show their work and contribute to developing the exchange of ideas around gender and culture.

This October, Women in Art Fair will launch with its first edition, and is inviting submissions from women artists (including female-identifying artists) for its Open Call exhibition.

The theme for the exhibition is The World is a Family, emphasising the universal experiences that bring people together across the globe. This title is given as a guideline for submission and is open to interpretation. The winning entries will be displayed in the extensive North Gallery at Women in Art Fair in a curated selling exhibition.

The exhibition offers artists the opportunity to have their work shown at a the first edition of a prestigious art fair seen by thousands of visitors at the Mall Galleries, including art collectors and women gallerists.

Visual artworks in all mediums will be accepted for submission: painting, photography, sculpture, textiles, ceramics, installations, performance. Artworks should correspond with the exhibition theme: The World is a Family.
